The Arctic is experiencing climate change at a faster rate than any other region on Earth, yet the perspectives of young people living there remain underrepresented in scientific research. In this project, I examined the attitudes of youth in Alaska and northern Canada toward climate change, environmental protection, and the future of their communities. Through survey-based research, I explored how Arctic youth perceive both the risks and opportunities associated with a changing climate. These findings provide valuable insight for educators, policymakers, and future leaders working to address climate challenges in the Arctic.
